30 years ago this month ( February 1992) , The Boppin Blues Band was founded. In the winter of 1992 , Mike Goudreau and a few Townships musicians recorded a demo on a cassette tape , live in the family basement. The demo was submitted to the Labatts Blues Festival program director and the band got booked at the Labatt’s Blues Festivals in Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, Jonquière and Hull. It was the summer of 1992. Now 30 years later with 6 albums produced , dozens of awards and nominations, dozens of songs featured on American Network TV and Hollywood films and over 300 concerts presented across Eastern Canada and the USA. The BBB is working on a new live recording and will be presenting a “Best Of” their most beloved songs.

Mike plays solo acoustic for an evening of Soft Rock & Bluesy favorites at Le Vintage 5080 restaurant in Sherbrooke. $10 for the concert or a ''Dinner-Concert'' package is offered ( $35 per person , includes dinner and concert ) .
